An opinion poll is not an election

This distinction is enforced in the data model, not just in wording. A poll has a type, and the type determines the disclaimer shown on it, whether it is binding, and whether it needs independent review. Nothing on this page can quietly be presented as a mandate it does not have.

Binding internal votes and official organisational elections are currently switched off pending legal review. See why.
