Data, with its limitations attached

Every dataset here carries its source, its date, how it was produced and what it cannot tell you. A number without those four things is not evidence, it is decoration.

We never present our own estimates as official statistics

Where a figure comes from party research it is labelled a party estimate, with its sample size and method. Where it comes from a government source it is cited and linked. Conflating the two is the most common way political organisations mislead, and it is easy to avoid.

No general datasets have been published yet. The boundary data above is loaded and documented; further public datasets will be added with the same provenance requirements rather than copied in without them.

The requirement is deliberately strict: a dataset without a stated source, reference date, method and limitations does not get published here, however useful the number would be.
