A working route to complain about discrimination

The problem

Discrimination in access to housing, services and employment is widely reported but rarely results in a recorded, tracked complaint.

Why it matters

A right without an accessible remedy is a statement, not a protection.

Proposed solution

A single, tracked intake for discrimination complaints with defined timelines, published aggregate outcomes, and support for the complainant through the process.

How it would be implemented

Operate the intake ourselves through the Civic and Legal Support module, direct complaints to the correct statutory body, and publish anonymised aggregate outcomes.

Risks, and what we would do about them

Risk

Raising expectations we cannot meet. Exposure of complainants to retaliation.

Mitigation

State plainly what we can and cannot do. Private by default. Never name a private individual publicly.
